Me, circa 2006 — Evidence of the goth phase

I am a woman in her middle ages, living in Düsseldorf, Germany. Former goth, former anime-enthusiast, currently turned Python Developer. In another life I got my Master's in Japanese (major), Chinese (minor), Russian (minor). Ended up working for two evil corporations which sucked my soul dry and left me a husk of my former self.

Burnt out, I quit everything and got my bachelor's in Computational Linguistics. Then ended up applying HPSG and using FOMA for formalizing morphological systems (teaching computers to understand language) — only to realize I mostly just taught myself to code.

And now they say AI is coming for my job.
